Zoar's Celebration Honors Swabian Settlement Anniversary
Swabian residents from Pittsburg, Allegheny, and Cleveland joined local Zvarites as Zoar marked the eighty fifth anniversary of their colony. The village featured flags, a reception by Cleve landers, and Duss's band music. A 2000 to 3000 strong Cleveland delegation attended a depot parade led by Duss's and Great Western bands. The event included a Swabian concert and a volksfest to close the day.

Warrick M. Rogers Dies in Massillon After Long Illness
Warrick M. Rogers died at his Park Street home shortly before 2 AM Tuesday from consumption. He was born in Pittsburg in 1845 and married Armelia A. Woollen in 1868. A long-time boiler works foreman, he owned West Side Boiler Works for ten years. He served in the Pennsylvania Paralegal lath regiment in the Civil War and belonged to Bart Post 62 A. Re. Daniel Ritter Camp, Sons of Veterans, Protected Home Circle, and Sr. UOA. Survived by a wife and four children Martha, Margaret, William, and Rayo, all in Massillon. Frederick Radtke noted after.
