Aultman Health Foundation reports an eight million dollar project at Aultman West to convert part of the facility into a freestanding emergency department with heart and stroke care. Construction began in April and should finish this fall with an October opening rename to Aultman Massillon.

Flood Evacuations Continue as Wayne County Roads Reopen
About 400 people were evacuated Sunday with a dozen rescued after flash flooding in southern Wayne County. Roadways began reopening Monday as U S 30 and Madison Avenue, S Bever Street and Old Lincoln Way reopened. By Monday morning Vine Street S Grant Street and Bauer Road joined the cleared routes though lingering debris remained possible.
