Conrad Witt 51 of 16 Short East street was found hanging in an oil shed about 1 a.m. by his wife after he had been reading late. Coroner Schuffele believes a sudden insanity caused the act, not premeditated. Witt, deaf and nearsighted, left no note and leaves a wife and five children. He worked at Russell & Company and ran a shop beside his residence. He was born in Sandyville and resided in Massillon for decades. He was a parishioner of St Marys and a member of St Josephs Society.
