Pearl Harbor ceremony to honor USS Arizona survivor Bruner
Lauren Bruner, a USS Arizona survivor, will have his ashes placed in the ship’s wreckage during a ceremony at Pearl Harbor Hawaii. A 1940 photo shows him at home in La Mirada California dated November 17 2016. The event marks the December 7 1941 attack anniversary.

Lauren Bruner, 21 in 1941, was the second to last to escape the USS Arizona during the Pearl Harbor attack. He later married twice and worked nearly four decades at a refrigeration company.
