Personal Grievance Over Bell Company Support Declined
The Trades and Labor Assembly told A. Stalcup of the Bell Telephone Company's Masillon interests that no further action would be taken for the striking operators. Seven Burglars Taken in Strasburg Station Robbery
A nine-man gang burglarized the Cleveland Lorain and Wheeling station at Strasburg on Tuesday night, stealing cash from the ticket office, a keg of whisky, wines, silverware, revolvers and other items totaling hundreds of dollars. A Canal Dover posse confronted them. seven were captured after gunfire and two escaped. Mayor Streb says the arrests may end the countywide gang activity. Closing date set for quails pheasants and rabbits hunting
The season for killing quails pheasants and squirrels ends December 15 as birds are hunted hard in the final days. Massillon sportsmen lead quail kills this season though pheasants are scarce. Rabbits, aided by the removal of a protective law, are scarce now after large bags earlier. Squirrels were few due to a poor hickory crop but may rebound next season as timber thickens.
