Lentz News and Curious Proposals Stir Ohio State Journal
The Ohio State Journal notes John J. Lentz may seek governor with hopes of John R. McLean’s backing. It questions McLean’s impact on any ticket if he leans toward a senate run and warns such moves could ruin candidacies. The paper also reports a sympathy strike by Nechah Wis high school pupils and a note on Turkey’s name origin. It supports a hospital project and discusses weather bureau advances in electrical communication without wires for coastal commerce.
