Driver Rice Injured in Celina Pace Accident
Leroy Rice formerly of this city sustained serious injuries at Celina on Wednesday while driving Black Cecil in the 2:16 pace. His horse stumbled and fell, throwing him beneath two passing horses and vehicles. He suffered gashes to the head and internal injuries while another driver lost an eye and another had a crushed hip. John Rice returned from Orrville where his brother is. Black Cecil is owned by Dibell Bros. of Orrville. DeWitt's Witch Hazel Salve advertised as healing for wounds and scratches.
