French Parker aged 30, son of Isaac Parker, who escaped from Columbus State hospital last February, was captured Friday evening at his brother in law Richard Boyer's home by Marshal Murphy. He was brought to Marysville, jailed, and recommitted to the hospital Monday. Parker has been at the institution on two prior occasions and has been insane for three years. He has threatened self harm, grown melancholy, and become untidy.

Tragic Death of Jerome Township Farmer in Gravel Pit
George Ell, 32, of the New California pike four miles southeast of Jerome Township, was killed when a gravel bank caved in while he shoveled between a wagon and the bank. He died instantly after his neck was broken by the falling dirt. John Vollrath and George Rausch, who were with him, escaped injury. Funeral services were held at his home with Rev. H. C. Kuechle officiating.
