The Patterson commencement exercises for Union County were held Saturday at 10 am in the common pleas court room in Marysville. One hundred sixteen graduates received diplomas qualifying them for any high school without further exams. The event was overseen by the county board of examiners L B Demorest J B Hughes and J A Yealey. The class address by Hon C C Miller urged pursuit of best possible education and practical use of it. Music by Ray McElwain and Edith Evans accompanied the program with an invocation by Rev John L Davies.

Parish Granted Divorce After Cruelty and Affair
Mrs Daisy L Parish of Jackson township was granted a divorce from Clyde Parish of Marion for extreme cruelty. She wins custody of two minor children Ima Lucile 9 and Bertha Marie 7 and alimony. The couple married March 12 1900. Clyde faced a Union county indictment for a clandestine affair with a pupil and served three months in Columbus workhouse. Parish had threatened to kill his wife prompting her relocation to her parents home.

In his will the late R L Woodburn bequeathed 250 dollars for a soldiers memorial in Jerome township, with residents raising to 1000 dollars. Rev James S Revennaugh Dies After Long Illness
Rev James S Revennaugh of Cincinnati former Marysville Presbyterian minister died Monday after a long illness. He was 54, born in Muskingum County, and served North Presbyterian Church Cincinnati the last two years. He led Marysville church from 1897 to 1904 and helped finance its stone building. Survived by widow and four children Lynn Florence Paul and Charles.

Charles M. Forbes a 35 year old Peoria railroad operator declares intention to naturalize. He was born in Canada and voted for years under no legal rights.
