Miss Ann Felkner Dies After Brief Illness at 72
Miss Ann Felkner, 72, died Thursday afternoon at Dr. T. P. Shields’s home near Watkins where she helped with house work during his illness. Pneumonia caused the death after a brief illness. She was never married and lived near Watkins and Ostrander most of her life. She is survived by a brother Haines Felkner of Columbus. The body was taken to cousin Calvin Felkner’s Ostrander home, and the funeral was held at the Ostrander Presbyterian church with burial in the Ostrander Baptist Cemetery.
