Pretz Sued For 1000 In Auto Collision Damages
John Thomas of Marysville sues Paul Pretz a Jerome township farmer and brother of Mrs George Court for 1000 damages claiming injuries from a June 19 1912 auto collision when Thomas was helping quiet a frightened horse. Interurbans sweep two as Marysville drops doubleheader
The Columbus Interurbans won 12 to 7 and 3 to 2 in a Sunday doubleheader at Kindergarten Park. Marysville, outplayed in both games, saw strong hitting from the visitors who had solid pitching from Reams in the first and Croy in the second. Gorton and F. Klet contributed on defense and offense for Marysville, but timely hits and errors helped the Interurbans pull away in the opener and hold on in a tight second game before about 500 spectators.

Mrs Hall Dies in Columbus State Hospital
Mrs. William Hall died Sunday at the Columbus State hospital for insane after many years as an inmate. Her remains were shipped to Peoria then to the Simon Hall home near Raymond where funeral services led by Rev. E. S. Weaver of Marysville were held Monday. Burial followed at Oakdale cemetery.

Section hand injured in railroad tie unloading accident
McAtee a section hand on the Ohio Central railroad was seriously injured last week while unloading ties from a freight car. His clothes caught on a nail in a tie and he was thrown to the ground striking his forehead on a pile of ties causing a concussion of the brain. He lives near Zanesfield.

Found Dead in Woods Near Cary Farm
John Johnson aged 56 residing with his son Fred near Kileville on the Cary farm was found dead in the woods Tuesday of last week while pumping water for stock. Fred, recovering from typhoid, located the body a few hundred feet from the well and alerted nearby workers. Johnson had lived near Plain City most of his life and leaves five sons in the community along with siblings in New California and Plumwood.
