James W. Cameron a long time Wood county lumberman and Milwaukee business leader died of heart disease while driving near Milwaukee. Funeral held at Milwaukee residence, mausoleum planned. He held posts with Cream City Sash and Door Grand Rapids First National Bank and several lumber and paper firms. Survived by wife and son Frank J. Cameron.

Secretary John H White of the Fair association has set and closed contracts for street fair attractions over the past two weeks. The Canadian giant, 21, 367 pounds, 7 feet 10 inches tall, joins A Sigttieds living pictures with The Belmont Sisters and daily ascension. The Great Sidonie performs twice daily on the high wire while Curio Olstad showcases Alaska curios. Bosco the snake eater features multiple snakes. Additional contracts are expected in the coming days.

Samuel T. Hiles, son of James K. P. Hiles of Dexterville, was accidentally shot in the legs while hunting prairie chickens on the marshes south of Dexterville Tuesday morning. Forty-five shot were removed and though seriously wounded, he is expected to recover.

Fred Kennard a colored barbershop worker at Hotel Blodgett took a new suit and a few dollars from a traveling man and left Marshfield for the North on the Northwestern limited at 1 PM. He did not settle three bills for board lodging and livery. Wausau police arrested him when the train stopped there. Montreal House Rosa restaurant and Robert Cork may sue for debts. L. M. Smith obtained a warrant charging him with jumping a board bill and he was taken in charge by Marshal Gerwing for possible hearing before Judge Andrews.

Child Burned to Death in Barn Fire Near Sherry
A five year old boy of August Lender in the Sherry area found matches and went to the barn to play. The barn caught fire and the child was burned to death. The charred remains were recovered around 5 o clock last night.
