A full Sunday of ceremonies marked the dedication of Immanuel's Lutheran school building. Rev Paom led the morning service, Prof F Ernst of Watertown preached, school children and choir performed, followed by a dinner and evening gathering with Rev M Bunge giving an address.

The J F F whist club met with Miss Cora Vaughn last Friday. Mrs W H Roddis hosted bridge for a small group. Royal Neighbors held a dancing party at the armory. Finneys and Pollards plan a dinner. Mrs W D Connor hosted lunch for Mrs H R Messer of Laona and others. W W McCulloch and D C Gile host a tea Saturday. Fortnightly Musical Club meets with Miss Glassner for a program. German Whist at Finneys’ home featured asparagus decorations, with prizes awarded to Mrs Dorschel and Mr Hume, and Mr Hambight as consolation.

A break in at Upham mill was discovered by the watchman, believed to be the work of a tramp who slept in the shed overnight.

Fire at Pollard Woodshed Briefly Extinguished

Fire department responded at 3 30 Monday morning to a woodshed fire at E Pollard on West Third Street. Very little damage occurred as flames were extinguished before they could spread further.

Badger Auto Quartette Performs at City Hall

The Badger Auto Quartette appeared at city hall last Tuesday evening drawing a small audience after a Stevens Point trip. They have toured the state for five months and spent two weeks with Prohibition Chateaux in Illinois. Prof. Pehlendt gave an entertaining address after several quartette selections.
