Notice for sugar beet farmers in the Chippewa Falls area informs that beet lifters are in possession of Herman Bauer and available by contacting him. Accident Victim: Six Year Old Shot In Wisconsin County
The six year old son of Lewis Punkratz, living between Aur Burndale and Blenker, was accidentally shot Monday evening. A 42 calibre revolver, held by the boy after grabbing a jack knife, fired, piercing the left hand and abdomen. He was taken to the hospital in this city on Tuesday for treatment by Dr Doege. Severe wounds include three bowels holes and may prove fatal. The father recently suffered a house and barn fire.

Nels Anderson Dies In Train Accident At St Paul
Nels Anderson was killed last Friday in St Paul when a freight car struck him after he rode on a ladder near an overhead bridge. He had worked for the Omaha road since April and previously for Wisconsin Central and the old Scott road. The funeral was held Sunday at his brother John Anderson’s home with services by Rev. J P Young and local A C U A W lodge members providing escort to the grave. Mrs Anderson, soon to move back with a four weeks old baby, mourns the loss of her husband and provides a note of family continuity. Attending from out of town were Mr Strandberg and Mr and Mrs Larson of St Paul, Louis and Walter Overbeck and Miss Bine of Grand Rapids.

County to Establish Free Rural Delivery System
