Murdered man Edward Smith found near Edgar
The body of Edward Smith was discovered Saturday afternoon two miles north of Edgar, badly decomposed with a crushed skull. Police believe murder in a wooded area after the body was dragged there, with over $90 missing and a $10 pill found in a pocket. Arthur Young, jailed suspect, proclaims innocence while witness accounts link him to the crime. A man named M Armeaninski recalls seeing two men in a buggy and gunshots near the time of disappearance, potentially supporting Young’s arrest.
