Marshfield City Council Minutes 1911 Meeting Notes
The Marshfield Wisconsin city council met October 4 1911 in the city hall with Mayor Connor presiding. Aldermen Nichols Thomas MacFarlane Finney Lundgren Kalbskopf Strauss Weber Juno and others present. Minutes were read and approved. The finance and license committees discussed allocations for bands saloons and city departments. Petitions included a request for a street overpass and ladder for fire safety. Ordinances 218 and 218 followed and a number of budget items and transfers were approved or referred. The session closed with reports from heads of departments and the street commissioner and notices of train schedules for the local station.

A baby boy, the seventh son of Mr and Mrs Christ O Connor of Emmet Marathon County, born Tuesday morning. The child is claimed to be the seventh son of the seventh son with reputed prophetic and body knowledge powers. He is the nephew of Sheriff Frank O Connor of the city.
