Butter Burglaries Lead to Two Arrests in Marshfield
A Marshfield creamery theft dumped 2350 pounds of butter during October 1. Two Spencer men, Lance Ireton and Edward I Clark, were arrested after police traced a buggy trail and intercepted butter shipments. Both confessed after questioning, with bail set at 500 dollars. They waived the preliminary hearing and returned to face guilty pleas.
