Runaway Team Crashes into Sidewalk in Auburndale
A runaway team belonging to Nick Kelvholer of Auburndale broke from its hitching post on A street and crashed onto the sidewalk on Central Avenue. Mrs. G. Schiafke suffered minor bruises and fear but no serious injuries after the team ran into a fire hydrant, damaging it beyond repair and forcing city workers to rebuild the next day.
