Marshfield Bedding Co Builds Strong Line of Finished Goods

Marshfield Bedding Co expands from a small plant to a multi building operation covering several acres. The company, formed as a stock venture in 1694, now produces hair, wool, excelsior and all kinds of mattresses, springs, cots, cribs and couches with frames and wood-work for springs. It heavily rebuilt after a 1902 fire and operates mainly in western and central states with a 45-man staff.
