Peter Weber's Death Touches Lincoln Community
Peter Weber, a long time Lincoln resident, died at his home Saturday night at 10 15. He was 70. Cause of death chronic diabetes, developed in July and acute last Wednesday. Born in Prussia on July 31 1846 he came to Theresa Dodge County as a youth. He held multiple posts including town chalignin and treasurer of local associations. Survived by a wife four sons and daughters including Jegenh Palster and Mrs Allan Ki of Stratford and others in Marsh Reid County. Funeral at St Johns Catholic church at 1:36 today.

Leo Hill Wins With Prize Beagles at Luke Indiana
Beagle owner B Hill from George Nw Hill six miles south of town sent stud dog Afton Sergeant and female Nita to the Western Beagle club trials at Luke Indiana. Over five days ending November 3 Yan's Nita won first in the three hour stake for hunting rabbits in the thirteen inch class. Nine dogs entered. Nita performed perfectly and won with a clean sweep. She was champion last year and bought by Hill from H W Prentice of DeKalb Illinois. Ben's Nita took second and third in the beach show for her class, while Afton Sergeant earned corresponding honors in his class.

Mrs BH H Waker of 724 North Central Avenue died by hanging early Sunday in Marshfield. The family, recently moved from Esper, had sought treatment for mental trouble. Authorities say self destruction while insane appears to be the cause. husband and three children left to mourn.
