Fire destroys Albert Dairy creamery at Vosper

A Friday night blaze at the Albert Dairy Company creamery in Vosper consumed the building and machinery. Total loss near $4,500 with partial insurance coverage. the facility will be rebuilt at once and enlarged beyond the old size.

Rev Eisen Takes Needed Rest From Parish Duties

Rev John Eisen leaves for Oshkosh on Monday and plans retirement stay to aid health. After fourteen years serving St John’s church with building of church school and parochial residence valued at about $75,000, he departs for rest. Rev Ignatius Bethan S. D. S. of St Navians will oversee parish during absence. Eisen plans return to Marshfield around December 16 with best wishes from his congregation.

Death of Mrs Tyler aged 66 in Marshfield

Mrs Jennie Tyler aged 66, longtime Marshfield resident, died last Wednesday after a stroke series. Born in Gault Canada in 1840 she lived in Omro and Marshfield with husband Sarguel W Toler. She leaves sons Chas Wharfeld and Fred Wharfield. Funeral at home conducted by Rev A B Soule, interment in Omro.

Several games planned at the armory this winter. Over half the opera house seats for The Bohemian Girl were sold before 8 o’clock Monday morning. packed house expected tomorrow evening.

Society Notes Preview Opera Eve and Local Card Parties

Society plans a full opera house program tomorrow evening while numerous tea and card gatherings proceed in the city ahead of Thanksgiving. Mrs George Booth hosted a Bridge Whist afternoon on Maple Street with refreshments after. Mr and Mrs Gile and Mr and Mrs McCulloch hosted two pleasant parties last week. Cinch featured, Mrs Frank Noll and Mr M P Carney won Wednesday honors. Mrs P J Kraus and Mr E S Bailey took prizes Friday. Refreshments followed the games and the evening closed sociably.

Edward Witt was appointed captain of the High School Basket Ball team. A debating society session featured a vivisection abolition question with the negative winning. The season opened with a win for Company A over the High School team, followed by a dance. Freshmen joined the Literary Society. the Northwestern line seeks an extra passenger train to Fond du Lac to Mytehfield and back, improving mail service and rail patronage.
