Auburndale Widow Dies in Wausau Hospital
Mrs. Joseph Baierl of Auburndale died at St. Mary's hospital in Wausau after a complication of diseases. Born in Austria October 20, 1867, she is survived by her husband six sons and six daughters. The body will be taken to Auburndale for funeral services today.

Miller Wins Law Suit in Neillsville Circuit Court
In Neillsville circuit court last Thursday a jury awarded Mike Miller damages against Richard Schreiber Dorchester totaling 300 and 8 dollars with 100 compensatory and 200 punitive damages plus costs. Miller testified the assault stemmed from a war argument over differing loyalties during service. Miller served in Company A and was honorably discharged for disability.
