Proposed sewer bonds eyed to boost health and growth

The article argues for a three year $4.07 annual sewer bond and a seventeen year 40 cent yearly levy per $1000 of valuation to fund a modern drainage system. It contends avoiding the bond would force costly temporary fixes, raise taxes sharply in a single year, and hinder Marshfield’s growth while insisting health and future prosperity justify the debt. It also notes the death of Francis Sheerin of Neenah and includes local advertisements and testimonials for medicines and a salve.
