Billys Bungalow home talent play at New Adler

A three act home talent comedy will be staged at the New Adler opera house on Thursday evening May 28 by a 20 member cast under St Albans guild. The event, praised by Grand Rapids papers, promises high class amateur entertainment in Marshfield with staging by B H Hutchinson and T C Lewis from the University of Michigan. Yman Howe Panama Canal pictures were shown at the New Adler last night, drawing strong crowds and high regard.

Married Men May Go to War Policy Corrected

Grand Army Man Laid to Rest

James G. Gossett longtime Marshfield resident Civil War veteran and former schoolteacher died Friday at St Josephs hospital after a brief illness. Born December 1845 near Greenfield Ohio he came to Wisconsin, taught in Marshfield area, janitor later in life. Change at the Janesville library prompts resignation

At a Monday library board meeting Miss Mary Egan resigned as librarian after accepting an offer from Janesville to head their library. The resignation was accepted with regret and Miss Grace of Detroit was contacted. she reportedly will take the role here in July.
