Sewer Contract Let For North Central Avenue Project
Bids opened at a council meeting last Friday, Ilstrap and Olson of Minneapolis awarded the contract for 2105 dollars, the lowest of four bids. Olson said a 35000 dollar bond would be posted soon and work would begin immediately. The project runs 2600 feet north on Central avenue to two small creeks, with a large sewer digger to speed construction. A disposal plant to be built in the south part of the city, about three weeks from completion, will be a concrete structure 73 by 28 feet with a seven foot high wall.
