Confirmation Day Draws Massive Crowds at Two Parishes
On Sunday Bishop James Suiho of La Crosse presided at Sacred Heart and St. John's Catholic churches. He confirmed 612 at Sacred Heart at 2:00 p.m. and about 224 at St. John's around 9:20 a.m. Large processions preceded the rites and hundreds attended. About fifty decorated cars escorted the bishop between churches, and Sacred Heart’s afternoon turnout exceeded capacity.
