Six Cattle Killed By Passenger Train Accident
A passenger train on the Northwestern road killed six cattle near Stentorg last Saturday after they attempted to cross the track ahead of the engine. The animals, owned by John and Lawrence Hayer, were struck as the train traveled at its normal speed. two were thrown into the air while one was carried about a mile on the cow catcher.
