Marshfield Hosts Seventeenth Annual Farmers Institute
The seventeenth annual state farmers institute concluded in Marshfield amid praise for local management led by Geo Welton, C J Morrison and C J Howard. Attendees lauded sessions on agriculture and a popular cooking school for ladies run by Mesdames White Lathrop and Roddis. Premiums were awarded for crops and dairy products as Gov LaFollette and Prof Henry could not attend due to washouts. The keynote by State Supt L P Cary on rural school consolidation drew special attention.
