Institute Program Promises Noted Speakers March 1819

Official Program for March 17, 1903 Mororing Session

Official program lists a morning session at 9 30 with prayers and ten minute talks by several speakers on topics including good tillage crop rotation strawberries and housing and care of swine. Afternoon session at 2 30 covers farming topics and animal care with additional talks on roads and public instruction. Evening session at 7 30 features music and agricultural education with Prof Moore and Cary addressing rural school consolidation and pupil transportation.

Wisconsin Farm Institute Proceedings Morning and Afternoon Sessions

On Wednesday March 18 the Farmers Institute schedules morning sessions at 9:00 with talks by L E Scott on Potatoes varieties and seed and H M Culbertson on planting and cultivation plus related topics. Afternoon at 1:30 features D B Foster W F Stiles and others on dairy, marketing, incubator brooder care, and cooperative creameries with speakers including Nellie Kedzie Jones and M LaFollette.

Woman's Department Demonstrations At Institute

An afternoon Woman's section offers two lectures by Mrs. Helen Armstrong of Chicago and talks on homes and families. Local helpers include Mrs. J. H. White as committee chair. Lectures are free and open to all. Wednesday at 1 30 p m features Household Sanitation, Household Economics, and Foods debate between Mrs Jamison and Mrs Armstrong assisted by Mrs Kedzie-Jones.
