Holstein Breeders Meet Highlights Honest Herd Building
The Holstein Breeders association met at city hall last Thursday with leaders and breeders from the region. J P Heintz presided, J Leu spoke on Development and Care of the Herd, and Mr Heintz on Grading up the Herd. Gillett urged integrity and education while stressing advertising, testing, and a strong association name to build a productive dairy community. He cited a shipment of Holstein grades from Lake Mills to Tennessee bringing $11,000 and outlined ideal Holstein conformation and dairy type standards for breeders.
