Marshfield High School senior class presented Mr Bob to crowded houses on Monday and Tuesday. George Wahle Jenkins the butler Laura Plum Patty the maid Melville Masten clerk and Melvin Kreus Philip Royson led a strong cast. Flora Greisinger Aunt Becky Laura Steineke Katherine and Anna Cole as Mr Bob also excelled. The cast earned wide applause for polished performance.

Road improvement meeting backs granite top dressing near Halder
Auto Club and City Council members met in the Council Room on Monday evening to discuss improving roads by top dressing with decomposed granite. They noted an abundant Halder area supply and hoped Chicago and Northwestern Railway Co would haul Stratford granite at moderate rates. Mr Strouts pursued formal action with his company. Judge Hugo Wegener was elected meeting chairman, Mr Strouts clerk. Varney, chair of Public Works, reported Halder samples as superior to prior materials for roads.

Line wreck at Osborne shocks Wisconsin crowd

Tigers Triumph In Extra Sensational Fieild Showdown
A near three hundred crowd watched the Marshfield Tigers edge the Stanley city team 11 to 10 at the local fair grounds. Stanley, a salaried lineup, led 10 to 1 after six, as Goodwin faltered until Krabno relieved. The Tigers exploded in the final three innings, hammering four two-base hits in the last frame to clinch the win with all runners safe. Next Sunday Marshfield faces Edgar at the fair grounds.
