Marshfield Beats Oshkosh Twice In Weekend Baseball Battles
Marshfield's ball club, strong across the board, defeated Oshkosh 2 to 0 in Sundays game and won 13 to 4 on Monday, tying Kaukauna for second in the state league. Revoyr excelled on the mound, Krebs and Walters starred at catcher and in hitting, while Wittkow and Walters homered in the second game. Oshkosh pitching faltered. Marshfield showed clean fielding and aggressive hitting despite a weekday exhibition drawing sparse crowds.
