Opie Dildock’s Turn: Quinn Slims For Season
Joe Quinn a veteran Marshfield sprinter may appear on cinders or ball field this season. He lost about forty pounds by excavating a new wall at his home, shoveling earth after hours at Rose Bros. He worked briskly the first nights, but when masons delayed, he refilled the hole and dug it anew for exercise. Some evenings he perspired heavily and hired a boy to bail the pit.
