Death of Mrs LaPointe at Waukesha
Mrs Mary Louise LaPointe former wife of Felix LaPointe of this city died at her daughter Mrs A C Atwood’s home in Waukesha after months of illness from anemia. About sixty she belonged to St John’s Altar Society and the Foersters. Funeral held at St John’s Church at nine with burial in Catholic Cemetery after body arrived last evening with Mrs Atwood.

Dorchester Resident Nic Ludovic Dies After Illness
Nicholas Ludovic, longtime Marshfield resident now living in Dorchester, died Wednesday at 2:35 am at his home. He was 53, born in Nabras sart Belgium, immigrated 1884, married Bertha Malinskine in 1887, lived in Wisconsin since 1892, and had six children. A liquor businessman for 19 years, he held charter membership in G U G Germania, Badger Aerie 624 of Eagles, and Catholic Order of Foresters. Funeral Friday at Dorchester Catholic church.

Lightning Strikes Spencer Child Walking To Town
A severe Monday storm near Spencer eight miles north of Marshfield produced deadly lightning and high winds. Little Leona Fredericks, daughter of Charles and [My] Fredericks, was struck while walking toward Graves brothers’ corner store and died instantly as flames scorched her body. The event, at about five pm, followed by field damage and uprooted trees, shocked the Spencer community.
