St Alban's Parish Picnic a Great Day at Yellow River
More than two hundred attended the first annual St Alban's Church picnic on the Fourth at the Yellow river grounds. Autos transported attendees from the church at 9:00 a.m. Tables and ovens were prepared by 10 a.m. The Ladies of the Guild served a abundant noon meal. Children swam or played while adults enjoyed holiday diversions. Return trips by auto began at 4:30 p.m. E S Kliner organized the event with support from the Parish Men's Club and the Women's Guild.

Runaway Team Cleared From Central Avenue S Go

Prominent Marshfield Woman Mrs Adler Died Saturday
Mrs Martin Adler a longtime Marshfield resident died Saturday at St Josephs hospital following an operation. Born in 1874 near Wausau she lived in the city for 17 years and is survived by husband Martin Adler mother Mrs John Mohr seven children and two brothers. Services were held Tuesday at St Johns Catholic church with interment at Hillside. Pallbearers included Jake Thomas P J Kraus Joseph Pflum Frank Mettelke and M J Berg. Relatives from Wausau and Merrill attended the funeral.
