Death by Hanging Shocks City Resident at 303 North Central
The body of Nicholas Bath was found hanging from a rafter in a barn behind 303 North Central Avenue. An inquest returned a verdict of death by hanging. Bath, about 52, left two daughters in the city and a brother in Allenton. Funeral held at 6:30 Monday evening.

Annual District 1 School Meeting at High School
District No 1 held its annual meeting Monday evening at the high school. President J Marsh declined renomination as director while E M Deming was elected unanimously. W H Roddis was elected treasurer but declined the post and was elected to the vacancy for the unexpired term. Mrs Mary B Cracraft and Dr W S Heaton were reelected to the board. A tax levy of 16500 was ordered, same as the past two years. A full report will appear next week.

Will Build New Depot With Chippewa Construction

Wagon Accident Injures Krieg Family and Mrs Thor
