The Corpse Sat Up On Wisconsin Central Tracks
An unknown man found on the Wisconsin Central tracks at Withee last Monday evening survived a severed foot injury and head wound. He was identified as Henry Prichard after transfer to St Josephs hospital where amputation occurred. He gave varying statements about his residence and claimed to have tickets for Marshfield for Withee. A Catholic Foresters installation and banquet occurred with new officers listed. The Stevens Point normals beat the local high school 28 to 24 in a close game with few fouls.

Tragic Brakeman Frank Ewald Killed Near Wausau Yard
Frank Ewald, 1866 born railroad brakeman from this city, died after a slipping fall under a moving car in the Northwestern yards near the engine house of Alexander Stewart Lumber Co in Wausau last Saturday. He was carried to St Marys hospital where he died. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Presbyterian church with A O U W and Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen pallbearers and grave services by A O S W. He leaves a widow and three children under twelve.

McMillan Tax Duties Praised for Prompt Payments
A. E. Beebee of McMillan is praised as the first treasurer to turn over village taxes to the county. He sent Mr. Juedes a check for 298.98, the village’s amount, but the county treasurer has not yet received it for the tax rolls. The village also has a record of never returning delinquents.
