Otto Eckhoff Electrocuted in Wittenberg Home Incident
Otto Eckhoff, son of Mr and Mrs John Eckhoff and brother of Mrs Carl Mess, died at his home in Wittenberg last Thursday after an arc light failed during a storm. The electric light plant owner was alone when the current flashed over his hands, death instantaneous. Body found five minutes after life ended by a passerby. Remains brought to Marshfield, funeral Sunday at 7 30 p.m. at 309 West A Street. Out of town mourners listed. Eckhott family conveys deep community sorrow.
