Cronin's Department Store begins season end sale with a half price on all ladies and children's cloaks. The offer promises the lowest prices ever on cloaks and other seasonable goods from the stock.
Europe supplies the fashion as America leads in machinery and railroads. We display a large line of imported novelties in silk and wool blends, with staple and medium price goods perfected by our home manufacturers, including clever copies of recent French and German fabrics.
The store promotes a new fall and winter line of Hosiery and Underwear with better values. A complete Dress Trimmings range has arrived and next week the fall importation of Handkerchiefs and Laces will be opened for Marshall and nearby residents to view.
The issue markets new shoe styles at low prices for men women and children and lists a long slate of Republican county committee members led by President Frank Latta and Secretary W J Gregg. It also covers local politics including a Democratic senatorial convention in Battle Creek, Odd Fellows and Rebekah lodge changes, school director salaries, and upcoming events in Homer Tekonsha Marshall and surrounding towns.

Exhibits ranged from floral halls to fruit and vegetable displays, with vendors like Marshall All Stores Co and J C Cooper & Co presenting products. Highlights included school exhibits, competitive voting for prettiest and most popular school, a merry go round, and a large livestock display. Evening races and a wedding added to the excitement as crowds packed trains and grounds.
