Secretary Folger Dies at Geneva Home in Septembers
The secretary of the treasury died at his Geneva New York home after a long illness marked by hemorrhages. Born Nantucket April 16, he pursued law, served as Ontario County judge, state senator, U S sub treasurer, and secretary of the treasury in President Arthur's cabinet. He leaves a son and two daughters. his remains were interred beside his wife.
