Fateful mishap mars Marshall fair as 11 year old escapes
The 44th Marshall fair drew good attendance and hopeful receipts but an accident marred Friday's events. Leap Wilson of Detroit, 11, was caught by a selfbinder shaft while near exhibits, twisted by the belt, and severely injured including a dislocated knee and a hip injury. Doctors attended, and she slowly improves as arrangements to move her to Detroit proceed.
