The case of Sarah F. Peppett versus the Michigan Central Railroad opened in Jackson this week. Rev. Jabez Snashall longtime Calvary Baptist pastor of Charlotte Michigan died after a Friday collision with an electric car on South Division street. He was thrown when his bicycle struck a stone and later died of a concussion at a hospital. He had come to Michigan seven years ago from Charlotte and leaves a widow and a 2 year old studying for the ministry at Kidamuacoo.
