Baby Baptism Blessing at Westfall Home on Mansion Street
A Tuesday evening christening at Mrs. Mary E. Westfall’s Mansion Street home honored the Baby of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Gardanier. Sponsors Benjamin Westfall and Mrs. Westfall stood with the parents under a lace canopy as Rev. G. F. Hunting led The Apostle’s Creed and the Presbyterian baptism. The ceremony was brief and reverent with the Baby in attendance cooing responses, followed by a heartfelt prayer for the child’s life in grace Bernadine.
