Lake Lyon Jubilee Story Mixed with Odd Legend
A fragment from Marshall Chronicle recounts a youth trip by arts students to Lake Lyon in Vredonia. Storms, a locked gate, and a returned plan with chariots and maidens lead to a dispute with Linard, who refuses to let the party depart. A deacon urges restraint while Linard’s demand for trespass relief draws exam of law and conscience. The piece blends travel tale with local church character and civic notices follow.
