Marshall Michigan described as a promising manufacturing hub
The article portrays Marshall as a prosperous mill town on a gentle slope with strong banking wealth and growing industry. It highlights flouring mills, Bullard furnace works, Marshall heating and ventilating furnaces, and an expanding railroad network including the Michigan & Ohio railway. A northern Toledo Marshall route and a grain elevator project are urged as catalysts for regional growth, tying Marshall to Toledo and Battle Creek through improved freight, passenger service, and manufacturing prospects.
