Michigan W T U Convention in Albion Moves Hearts to Action
The Michigan State Women’s Christian Temperance Union closed its twelfth annual convention in Albion with Miss Frances Willard’s address. Reports show 236 local unions and 6,800 members, up from earlier years. The gathering drew near 1,000 in the opera house and featured speeches urging temperance, duty, and community outreach across soldiers, railroad workers, miners, prisons, and youth.
