The Napoleon Hat Quest in Kickapoo Country
English collector Joshua Merritt pursues a legendary Napoleon hat on a perilous plains trek. After trickery by the Kickapoos chief Peeconowah and a daring rescue by Hetty Waldron, Merritt loses the hat but gains luck and a wary respect for indigenous cunning.
