Dr Lewis Rancom Fiske, a staunch Albion College supporter and renowned instructor, died last Thursday in Denver. Born December 24, 1825 in New York, he moved to Michigan as a child, studied at Wesleyan Seminary, and spent over twenty years at Albion College before resigning in January 1898.
