New County Poorhouse Repairs Urged for Safety
A letter to the editor warns the county poorhouse is a tinderbox with eight to ten additions poorly arranged. It calls for a new building on higher ground, urges supervisors to act, notes lack of heating and proper facilities, and cites prior warnings and ongoing repair costs.
