A Wisconsin man found after days in haystack field
In La Crosse Wisconsin on the 7th of November Louis Anderson crawled beside a haystack in the Fifth Ward. He survived about twenty four days without food or drink and was found by boys Monday after which police were alerted. He was taken to Justice Steinlein and then to City Hospital for a medical exam.

Boiler Explosion Kills Two at Claypool Mill
At Claypool, nine miles south of Warsaw, Indiana a boiler in a large steam saw-mill exploded yesterday morning at eleven. The blast ripped the roof and walls, sending fragments through the mill.
